AD Makstil

The company AD Makstil came out from the reconstruction and the privatization of the former Mines and Iron & Steelworks Skopje, an integrated producer of rolled products (hot rolled plates, hot rolled coils, cold rolled strips and sheets, galvanized strips and sheets and pre-painted coated strips and sheets) with annual production capacity of about 1.200.000 mt of finished products.
The plant started its activity on October 20th, 1967 and reached a  production of  about 1,15 million mt/year of finished products in 1986 to 1989.
During mid 90s the various production units were divided into 10 independent companies following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
AD Makstil Skopje was established on May 15th, 1997 as an independent entity, out of the above 10, with Duferco Group as majority shareholder.
